Brad Smith has built the strongest grassroots organization in the field. Smith was the first Democratic candidate to file nomination papers and, in just 10 days, collected 1,917 approved nomination signatures, the highest total of any candidate approved for the ballot, including incumbent Congressman Glenn Grothman.
